Allswell is a Silicon Valley-based aerospace company currently operating in stealth mode. We function on a “fail bad ideas fast” model, prioritizing rapid iteration and physical validation over theoretical perfection. We fly, we break, we learn, and we fix. Then we do it again.
Leadership Team
Built by mission-driven experts with deep roots in cloud infrastructure, global manufacturing, and high-stakes engineering.

Founder & CEO
Randy is the principal architect of Allswell’s autonomous technology, holding over 100 issued patents in high-performance computing and system architecture. A graduate of UC Berkeley with a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Randy previously served as the Senior Director of Device Architecture at Tabula, Inc., where he led the structural design of advanced programmable silicon. He later brought this deep-tech expertise to AWS Annapurna Labs as a Principal Engineer. There, he was a lead architect for AWS Inferentia, the custom silicon that defines modern cloud AI and compute infrastructure.
Co-Founder & Lead Engineer
Kevin leads the software engineering and systems integration efforts at Allswell. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University’s Electrical and Computer Engineering program, he possesses a deep foundation in both hardware dynamics and software architecture. Formerly the CTO of fintech startup CreditSea, Kevin managed engineering teams responsible for high-stakes financial transaction platforms. He now translates that zero-failure methodology to aviation.

Investor & Strategic Advisor
As the Chairman and CEO of Thermos LLC, Alex provides Allswell with significant financial backing and high-level strategic guidance. He leverages decades of experience in global manufacturing to advise on supply chain strategy and international scaling, ensuring Allswell is capitalized for growth and structured with the financial discipline of a mature industrial enterprise.
The Mission: Always-On Flight
The modern world operates 24/7, but aerial data does not. Satellites are limited by orbit times; towers are limited by line-of-sight; and traditional drones are limited by battery life and pilot availability.
Our mission is to close this gap. We are building the first full-stack drone system engineered to never sleep. By integrating proprietary autonomy, automated docking, and physics-aware path planning, we provide the infrastructure for continuous, year-round aerial insight.
We are building the infrastructure for continuous, year-round aerial insight.
The Origin: Born from Urgency
Our story began in the ashes of the California wildfires. As we watched the devastation, we realized that the crisis wasn’t just environmental. It was economic. With wildfire damages estimated at over $250 billion and insurance premiums spiking by 40%, California homeowners were losing their safety net.
We realized that the root problem was a lack of real-time data. Responders were blind in the critical early minutes of ignition. We founded Allswell to build the “unblinking eye,” a system that bridges the gap between high-altitude satellites and ground-based cameras to provide the granular, real-time data needed to save homes and stabilize insurance markets.
Customer Obsession
Allswell is built on a customer-centric approach, which extends beyond merely reacting to customer feedback. Instead, we proactively anticipate customer requirements. In the context of California wildfires, we recognize the public necessity for a system capable of detecting fires within the initial five minutes. For transmission tower inspection, the requirement is to capture detailed photographs of the power lines, not solely the towers themselves. For our maritime operation clientele, we observe the risks associated with deploying helicopter pilots and are developing a system that balances the ease of pilot operation and the probability of achieving the desired outcome.
We strive to move beyond simply fulfilling requests to defining the new standard for autonomous systems in critical operations.
Our Operating Model
Headquartered in Silicon Valley, Allswell is built on the engineering culture of the Bay Area. Led by a veteran of AWS, we apply the rigorous, data-driven methodologies of cloud infrastructure to the physical world of aviation. We move with the speed of a software company, iterating on our airframes and algorithms daily to expose weaknesses and accelerate development.
To match our software speed with manufacturing scale, we are establishing deep roots in Taiwan. Our Taiwan operating entity is currently in the final stages of formulation, pending the regulatory structuring required for foreign ownership, a process we expect to finalize in Q2. In the meantime, our engineering presence is already active on the ground.
